In another Greek story, Cupid and Eros brought the rose quartz to humans to sow love and hope. Zeus saw this and felt great empathy, bringing Adonis safely back from war and created Rose Quartz deposits throughout Greece as a symbol of love rekindled or renewed. She was wounded, and her blood fell on the White Quartz beneath her, staining it pink. ![]() In Greek Mythology, it was believed that Rose Quartz was created when the Goddess Aphrodite’s saved her lover Adonis from war.
